Ella 04-05-2007, 12:07 PM ROFL...see what I mean?!?!?! I have a friend and his second boy's name is Rory, and I just can't even say it...I feel bad, but I'm really, really hoping they give him a good nickname. OMG, :rolling:, you can abbriviate it and call him, Ror. Ack. It makes my tongue hurt. LOL LOL manda40475 04-05-2007, 12:59 PM I know a girl named Aurora and they just call her Ro. Call him Ro and see if it sticks. LOL tklavender 04-15-2007, 10:04 PM Names that make me cringe- Chauncy. What is that?? It's like Chance with a snobby twist. And I really hate when people spell Megan with an H- Meghan. If I see it written or typed I want to say Meg-han. Sorry to anyone out there with this name- just being honest!!! As far as words, anything with the 'pub' prefix: puberty, pubic and worst of all pubescent!!! Since having kids, I really hate the word lactate. Not what it implies, just the word. I hate when people call curtains or drapes "window treatments". Like they were sick before? I could go on and on.... Tina |
