I was going to add this to my 'weirdo' list but figured I would start a new thread
What grosses you out BIG time?
Here's my top 3...they just happen to be all food related

1) Coffee...sorry coffee lovers....I HATE the site/smell of coffee..especially old coffee that has been sitting around..

2) Beer...same thing as coffee...the smell actually makes me gag...
It was tough in college at those keg parties...

3) Slimy eggs with ketchup...sends chills down my spine...LOL

mayonaise smells gross the smell makes me gag (miracle whip included)

i can't stand the smell or taste of beer ick


and throw up, i can deal with the spit up but when its chunks OMG then its me too, Fortunatly Dylan has only threw up on the floor 2 times in 13 yrs, 1st time i lived with my parents and my dad cleaned it.. 2nd he was sleeping over my parents he has in the toilett but thats where it should be

God forbid alexis tosses her cookies when its with food in it, i'll be yelling for Dylan lol or cleaning the both of us

Many many things...I have such a weak stomach anymore. LOL

Puke, definitely. Anytime one of my kids gets sick I'm not far behind. I'll be cleaning it up and puking in a towel at the same time. Same goes for when the cats do it and that's more often!!!

I'm not a fan of mayo either. Ummm...Nick dipping his food in ranch dressing or the hot dog omelette he made the other morning. :sign11:

When I was pregnant this past time, one of our cats kept pooping in the bathroom sinks and tub and it was so disgusting. I was constantly getting sick, especially in the mornings when I was the first to find it. I can't even clean out the litter boxes anymore because of this.

Bugs...they are so disgusting. I can't stand to be around ANY bug or have one on me. If a gnat is flying around, my head and body starts itching like I have them crawling on me. Gives me the heebie jeebies.

I'm sure there are many more, but that's what is sticking out to me.

I have a pretty strong stomach, but....I can not stand fat on a steak. The cooked one, or a vain running through a piece of meat. Yuck Yuck Yuck.
Cats, their smell, their noise or anything about them makes me cringe.
Snakes too. If I see one, I am guaranteed to have a nightmare..
Lets see...dirt under finger nails, dirty feet, hairy backs will gross me out.
And....the last, but not least...bad breath. I can not stand it!

Wet bandaids. Uncooked egg whites or eggs sunny side up (:sign11: ). Carpet. Rough towels. Food that gets caught in the drain trap in the sink. Cats...well, litter boxes. The thought of eating strange meat products like liver, head cheese, and most deli meats. Uncooked chicken. Corned beef hash. The smell of old people. Bad oral hygeine. Public restrooms. Rare hamburger. Mullets. Meat on pizza. The smell of sulphur. Port-a-potties. People that don't wash their hands often enough.

Um...the list could go on forever.

Crumbs in the butter
Oatmeal-texture thing
Meat of any sort....I am not a vegetarian, it has just grossed me out since I was a kid, the smell, texture....yuck, yuck, yuck.

I think feet are just gross in general.

People w/ food stuck in their teeth...ack!

i hate when people leave pee drops on the toilett ( please be neat and wipe the seat)
I hate when my son leaves the toilett seat up and i am half a sleep and oops sat on the damn cold bowl to jump up really quick
walking in grass and getting dog doo doo on your shoe( because you didn't see it there what happened to the pooper scooper)
really overweight people wearing clothes that are to tight, showing to much skin and not appropriate on them (my neice does this i am also over weight and wouldn't do this)

You know? I have a stomach made of steel. I just read the entire thread and none of that stuff grossed me out. I was an ENT for 4 years and I was puked, crapped, peed and bleed on so much I just became immune. Although, there was this one time this lady came to the clinic I volunteered at with a cup of bloody spit, that kinda made my toes curl. EEEEWWWW :sign11: let me think...hmmm.. oh you know...

1. The smell of women's public bathroom (why do they always smell like fish?!)
2. soggy bread on sandwiches (unless it like bbq sauce)
3. The smell of rotting beand (I don't know if you've experience it, but it's pretty bad)

Pieces of onions....I hate them. If I'm eating something and there is onions in it and I bit into one, I'll die.
I don't mind them if they are minced in a onion ring though. Anything else, YUCK, I'll gag to death.

Uh huh, I just HATE them. If they are in anything I won't eat it, or will spend them time to pick them all out. Yucky.

I hate onions too. I surprisingly can stomach when my kids puke (although I hear you on the curdled milk puke Em, that is what the boys both simultaneously threw up when their rotavirus started and when I walked in the nursery the smell almost knocked me out!).

People not washing their hands in pretty gross. I am a Purell addict too, that kicked in after the boys' were born. All diaper bags, glove boxes in the car, and my purse have bottles of Purell and we have the large Germ-X bottles on each level of the house and on the changing table.

I have a pretty strong tummy. Most things don't bother but I have 2 that really do...as I was shopping, I was lucky enough to smell one of them....

1. Overweight people (I am overweight but not to this degree) I am sorry if this offends anyone, but the ones that are massively overweight have this smell and it makes me want to gag everytime!

2. Fish being cooked....don't know what it is about it but man it reaks!!!!!!!!!

i know what you mean its severly overweight people unfortunaly like my mom but its her seaton the couch that smells bad i mean she walks by i don't smell anything but i couldn't sit on her couch actually she has a dif one now this one doesn't smell that other one must have just held it or something

i was a homehealth aid had some really large people smell like that too

not to be mean as i am also fat just not that bad

Yeah same here! I feel really bad when I think it but its just something that I can't stand.

Puke (I can deal with the kids, but adults....yuck), fish (ever since my 1st pregnancy), bad breath, seeing someone's food slopping around in their mouth when they are chewing (eww!), the sound of nails on a chalkboard, eye surgery photos (did not like watching the lasik video when dh was considering doing that). I'm sure there are others, but this is what is currently coming to mind! Ohhh...people who don't flush in the public restroom and then you get to see what they left behind (so nasty!!!)

Okay I am having too much fun on this forum!!

People may hate me for saying this- but I really can't stand dogs! Yes we have one and maybe thats why. They smell, they shed, they eat poo, they lick themselves and they put thier cold wet noses on you when you walk by. Oh and the crotch sniffing things drives me up the wall!!!!

Ours in in our house ( my dh's dog-we nearly got a divorce when he brought her home... ) and she follows me everywhere!!!!!!

Okay, I hate when babies get little finger gunk and it stays in between the little folds and creases and stays wet from them chewing on thier hands and it starts to stink. Like toe jam, but in the little fat fingers!!

What grosses me out is raw celery. If I bite into a chunk of it while I am eating something I nearly gag. I can't finish whatever I am eating. Even just the taste of it in something bothers me!!! I can eat it if it is cooked in something though, as long as its not crunchy.

:haha: This is the most fun thread ever!!! I'm laughing out loud while I read it. I'm probably going to wake the baby! You girls have some really strange aversions, but Brice's Mom - celery???? That is so random. BTW, I LOVE LOVE your siggy pic of Brice in the bath. Too cute.

Okay, I'm totally neurotic, so a lot of things FREAK me out (spiders, foil, popsicle sticks, etc...) but I'm just going to list what grosses me out...

* blood, actually most wounds or injuries (have you seen the previews for that new MTV show
"Scarred"? It makes me nauseous!)
* toenail fungus
* the smell of cooked green veggies like broccoli, brussel sprouts, spinach - BLECK!
* public restrooms
* bad breath and dirty teeth (we have a friend who I swear has never flossed in her life -
it is so disgusting - the cracks are BROWN!)
* "Fear Factor" food challenges - No way I could eat that stuff, not even for $50,000
* roadkill

I'm sure there's more but I'm ridiculously hungover (it was my birthday bash last night and I haven't drank since before I was pregnant. Not good) so I can't think right now...
