Senior in High school memories (had to pull out my senior book for this one. lol)

What year was it?: 1995-96

What were your three favorite bands or musical artists?: Hootie and the Blowfish, TLC, Shania Twain

What was your favorite outfit?: Levis jeans and t-shirts or polo shirts

What was up with your hair?: it was all the same length and to my shoulders, straight, and usually worn back in a ponytail or halfway back with a barette.

Who were your best friends?: Summer, Brittany, Jacqueline, Saul, Dallas, Damian, Jesse

Where did you work?: summers at Shillito Pool

Did you take the bus?: drove a 1985 red/silver Chevy Blazer

Who did you have a crush on?: at that point I was already engaged to Jesse and was with him the entire time, although I did have crushes on two Joshes, lil Jon, and my ex-bf Heath.

Did you fight with your parents?: all the time.

Who did you have a CELEBRITY crush on?: not sure at that age...probably Luke Perry from 90210 still. LOL

Did you smoke cigarettes?: not much, but yes

Did you lug all of your books around in your backpack because you were too nervous to find your locker?: erm...no...I used my locker

Did you have a 'clique'?: not really because I was friends with everyone.

Did you have "The Max" like Zach Kelly and Slater? A place to dine out and get together?: we cruised around our tiny town and parked to talk in the Bowling Alley parking lot, Sonic, or the car wash. Woohoo! LOL

Admit it, were you popular?: I was friends with the popular kids, but I didn't actually hang out with them. I would have to say no. I always considered myself in the middle...friends with everyone.

Who did you want to be just like?: no one that I can think of

What did you want to be when you grew up?: a writer or photojournalist

Where did you think you'd be at the age you are now?: married with kids, a house, and doing my dream job. I have everything but the dream job. :smt036

What did you want to be when you grew up?: a nurse or doctor

Now that's funny! LOL I can still remember in 8th grade that I wanted to name my kids Dylan and Devin. Heck...Noah was named after the character from "The Notebook". ;) Ryan Gosling is one heckuva hottie.

I love them but they ditched me...I was the youngest and they separated and remarried and i bounced back and forth because I "acted out" for attention...yada yada. If someone would've just asked me if i needed help with my homework..something.. i was on my own. bad choices were made. oh well...life is great now! i just missed out on a lot...High School for one.

What was your favorite outfit?: Patched up jeans, Ozzy concert T and my WAY cool moccasin boots.

What was up with your hair?: Layered and long. I could go big like a rock star, and did from time to time, but mostly it just hung there. Sometimes I "zapped" it and that was pretty cool. (glad I don't have pictures of that one)

Admit it, were you popular?: I was with the cool handicapped kids ( I hate saying "handicapped", but didn't know how else to explain), because unlike most people I treated them like they were human and really liked being with them instead of the dummies that I had classes with all day. We had lot's of fun together. It's lot's of fun crusin on the back of a wheel chair, or listening to music with a deaf person (they like a lot of bass and so do I). Did you ever go bowling with a blind person? Talk about some fun.
I was pretty much invisible except with my small group and liked it that way.

What did you want to be when you grew up?: A writer, and a high school counselor, and photographer.

Where did you think you'd be at the age you are now?: I didn't really think that far ahead, but when I was real small I remember thinking I would have 3 kids by the time I was 32 and I would be married to a really cool guy.

Did you have "The Max" like Zach Kelly and Slater? A place to dine out and get together?: We hung out at Baker's Square all the time. Those poor people, we'd take a huge booth and order like two Cokes. But they never kicked us out. Denny's wouldn't let you hang out unless EVERYONE ordered something.

Who did you want to be just like?: no one that I can think of

What did you want to be when you grew up?: a social worker or teacher

Where did you think you'd be at the age you are now?: married with kids, a house, and working as a social worker. Slight career change as social working burned me out. Corporate HR took it's place.

My bgf and I were going to be an artist (HER) and a writer (me) I wasn't going to have kids or get married. I'm glad I had kids :smt036

Bringing up High School was sad. This year I met up with everyone from there. A friend of ours moved to Arizona. He was changing his tire on the thruway and was killed by a semi. His funeral was here. It was HORRIBLE as you can imagine. Not everyone was living "happy" lives so that was sad too.

We had double rows, top and bottom. Seniors always got top, freshman always got bottom. There was a fun thing called the freshman tip. You went to your locker, and if the poor freshman was knelt down getting into the locker below you, you tipped them over! Omg. So bad.
