1. I cannot drive or ride in the front seat without a seatbelt on. I don't wear one if I'm in the back of a vehicle though (bad I know).

1. I have a huge fear of spiders..no matter what the size. I have almost wrecked a car because one was on my window beside me.
2. I am terrified of hurricanes. In VA we don't get them like in FL, but over the past 2 years we have had a couple bad ones. I was trying to get home during one when flood water almost took my car (with me and 16 month old Nate) in it. We got away into a neighborhood and spent the night with strangers.

4. I hate dh trying to cuddle with me in bed, I love him, but I would much rather lay down without someone right up on me. Poor hubby!

6. Ok this is embarrassing. I hate buying underwear! I guess it's because I need to lose weight and hate that I don't look good! So.....Nick is almost 1 year old....i'm still wearing maternity underwear. They're too big, but I just don't have the motivation to buy new ones!! Yikes!

5. I have to say "bless you" every time someone sneezes. Even if it's a sneezing fit I say "Bless you" after every one. Eric LOVES this! and always cracks up when he sneezes several times.

6. Good looking men make me nervous. So nervous I can't even concentrate. I have been known to move my seat in public places to get the hottie out of my view so I can talk and enjoy the company I'm with. I worked at a factory for 2 weeks and had to quit because the guys there kept saying "Hi, and good morning" to me. and it would take me forever to be able to get back to what I was doing. I made WAY too many mistakes. LOL
When I did hair I would sometimes have to ask someone else to take the haircut just cuz he was too good looking or smelled yummy. If I HAD to take them it was complete and utter torture for me.

seriously I worked in the sporting goods department with my cousin and he went to college with dh... dh came to see him and that is how we met.. (acutally i found out it was set up because he kept asking my cousin who I was and found my sced at work out to come and meet me... the day he met me I was hung over, just went to school all day (resp school) and had a 2 hour session at the gym... ) he really met me at my worse.... and still wanted to go out with me...

Okay, I am trying to thing of truly weird things about me (which most people who know me would think that's not that hard).

1.) I am an extremely picky eater, not b/c of taste usually it's texture. I will not try or eat things simply b/c I feel I will not like the texture. I am thinking Keegan has inherited this from me as he seems to be the same way.

2.) I frequently do silly dance steps/moves or faces just to amuse myself or others in my household, like sliding across the floor in the kitchen in my socks like an ice skater or staring at DH with a funny face while he is watching TV or something until he looiks at me and laughs. I also like to sneak up on him and yell Boo! just to annoy him. I know, it's juvenile, but what can I say? Just that I hope I'm still like this when I'm 80 b/c it's fun.

3.) I sleep w/my socks on (except when it's really hot) which DH thinks is bizarre. But my feet are cold alot.

4.) I don't put milk on my cereal. I eat it dry with a glass of milk to drink. This is another texture issue, I don't like soggy food.

5.) This is kind of freaky. When I am stressed I have reoccuring dreams about being murdered or raped. I had them alot in college during my senior year when I was taking a heavy courseload and DH and I were carrying on a long distance relationship and I was always broke. They were very real and scary dreams, I rarely have them now, but it scares the hell out of me when I do (odd b/c I have more stress but maybe b/c I have more happiness too?) and I wake up in a panic.

6.) I love Starburst candy but always have to eat them in a certain order, yellow, red, orange, and pink. Another weird food quirk here. I am seeing a theme.

LOL Myrita, this would gross me out too. If you read my post you'll see why although I think I forgot to add that I also don't like for my food to touch, although I've gotten better about it bumping up next to another item over the years. When I met my SIL she mentioned she hates this too and I knew I had found a true sister.

Okay Kel we should really meet because I was mentally checking off almost everything on your list. I do the same thing with the towels, I am fanatical about making the bed and will aslo make in before I get in if I didn't that day. I sleep w/at least a sheet on, even if it's hot, and I do the same thing with the straw wrappers. Too weird!

Maybe our habits really aren't so weird if so many of us have the same ones. ;) LOL I'm joining the following clubs:

* Don't like my foods to touch.
* After dh packs the kids' clothes, I will go through them and repack/refold.
* Will rearrange the dishwasher after dh has loaded it because there's always more space that can be used. LOL

Here's one I would REALLY be surprised if anyone else did. I "time" myself in the shower. Meaning I wash each section of my body for a certain amount of time (15-30 seconds). If I don't do this, I feel dirty afterwards. My showers wind up taking 10-15 minutes.

OMG, I do this these too!! I HATE onions...they totally gross me out, like crunching into one will almost make me puke. But I don't mind the taste of onions and I will eat an onion ring only if its minced onion. A whole onion inside there...I'll just die.

4) I'm a sugar addict...I could easily eat at least 8 cadbury eggs in one sitting

5) I loathe rude people...I can't stand it if someone doesn't say please or thank-you, or shuts the door on your face!

6) I don't own a single CD, never bought a CD...not one...just recently I downloaded music and Dh made me a CD for the car....

1. I do the dishwasher thing too - I rearrange it a few times a day.
2. I have to sleep in short sleves, I can't stand anything on my arms.
3. My covers have to be tucked in at the bottom with NO wrinkles. Sometimes I have to wake up a few times a night to retuck them in. And I have to sleep with a sheet and a blanket - no matter how warm. No socks either.
4. I have chocolate mike every morning for breakfast. Nestle Quick. I very rarely miss a day.
5. I hardley ever answer the phone at home. I love caller ID and will usually not answer even if I know who it is. I am on the phone so much at work that I hate to talk on it at home.
6. When my husband is out of town - I make a box of Kraft Mac and Cheese and eat the whole thing.
7. My family calls me "fish hooks" because I am cheap. I have to think about something for about 5-10 min before I decide to buy.

5. My closet is organized by type of clothing and color.
6. I cannot eat anything with visible fat on it, and I can tell you exactly how many fat grams I consume every day.

ROFL OK I am pretty damn openminded but sheesh styrofoam? How can that be a phobia? I truly do want to know what scares you about it.

Oh and Dan is the sheet phobe in our house, bed has to be made perfect, so much so he would prefer to do it, I supose that is cause I keep one leg out the side also.

2. My grandpa told me when I was little that I would have twin girls and he told me that all my life, up until he died. We didn't know what they were, but they were due on my grandpa's birthday, July 4, so I knew they were girls, I was right.

LOL Nails on the chalkboard does nothing to me, but sandpaper...OMG! Sandpaper and emery boards...I can't be in the same room as someone using either of them. Ok, this thread is too funny. Here goes:

1. I have to fold towels and especially Kara's clothes in a certain way. I refold them if my husband touches them. He thinks its ridiculous.

2. When we go out to eat at a restaurant, I count, recount and recount the money for the bill and tip (about 100 times). I think it's b/c I mistakenly shorted my bill once and the waitress asked me if everything was ok. Very embarrassing, so now I have OCD about counting the money and making sure there is at least a 20% tip. All of my friends make fun of me.

3. All of my clothes (the few that fit anyway) are organized by color.

4. I can't stand when people are cutting their food and press the knife too hard into the plate and make that squeaky noise, KWIM? Drives me crazy.

5. I could eat an entire half gallon of Turkey Hill Choc Chip Mint ice cream in one sitting - easily. I have actually done this, then secretly gone to the store to buy more so my husband didn't find out. (and then hid the empty carton in the trash)

6. I hate when people are inconsiderate and not aware of their surroundings and the people around them. Also, I hate rude drivers. Being from NJ, there are a lot of them.

OMG me too! It's that squeaky noise that you sometime get when you scratch the plate w/ a fork!! Made my skin crawl just thinking about it. I'm also a purell addict, anna. I have a bottle in ever room of my apt and on my desk!! :oops:
