Ok, it's 1am and I have been up for over an hour. Nick has been coughing like crazy! My last thread was about my oldest and his possible asthma....my little guy may possibly be trying to "one up" his big brother!! So, the bad mommy part. I got the spring cleaning bug and cleaned my house today. It was so nice out (mid 70's) that I opened up the windows. Guess what???? Our pollen count is high and now Nick is coughing his little head off. Actually, at the moment, he's crying and mad that I put him down, as his coughing had lessened. The allergist was suspicious of "reactive airway" in him, and I guess I'll have something to report to him when we go for our follow up on Friday. As for Nate....not a peep out of him, Zyrtec is working well so far. Yikes!!! Bad mommy! I just wanted a little fresh air in the house!!! :sad3:

Oh geez, that stinks! I hope that he can settle down and sleep, soon. And you should get some sleep, too, Mama!

So, how was the rest of your night? I hope you & Nick were able to get some sleep.

Awww...poor Nick. :( Maybe the dr. can prescribe some Zyrtec for him as well. Hope he's better today!

Thanks guys! Nick settled down after about 2 hours, then he was up coughing again around 6am. Today he has had green snot looking stuff (sorry, TMI) coming out of his eyes, and a little bit of coughing. We will see what tonight holds. Wish us luck!! Do you think that zyrtec will be the next plan of action for Nick, or do you think he may need a neb for those middle of the night coughing marathons??? Thanks!!!
