Can I give Jack mucinex and will it help?
He has so much snot and mucous we can hear it in his throat and he is gagging on it.
We are still doing the treatments but they are not helping AT ALL... :sad3:

Is there anything else at all we can do? HELP..... :sad5:

Thanks Lori.

Em, sorry I haven't been around sooner. We were out of town.

Stick with the nebs, the humidifier, and push clear liquids (they help to thin the mucous internally). As for Mucinex, I don't know, is there a children's formula? Maybe you could put in a call to your Ped's nurse for recommendations. Sorry, I know I have been absolutely NO HELP on this one!

LOL... that's ok.
I am going to get him into the doc today. His treatments are NOT doing a thing. But, he ran out of Pulmicort and then they didn't get it called in until late and I still haven't gotten it. :sad2: GRUMBLE GRUMBLE...

Anyway, I will let you know what they say. Chris asked me if there was anything we could get that could get that "junk" out of his chest, we can hear it in there. :sad5:
