Well here it goes Emerson has had a horrible rashon his left leg for almost two weeks now! Monday we went to the ped's office ahe thought it was excema, but was not sure why the Locoid I had been using had'nt helped! I'm calling out to the moms of excema babe's for advice on detergents, bath washes, lotions and any general care tips! Emerson is so pitifull he trys to scratch at it, which makes it even redder! Does this sound like excema to yall moms? It started on his calf and behind his knee and went upto the thigh and to the buttock! It is rough and raised and now has a blistered look to it!!Please help thanks in advance!
Eucerin CREAM (not lotion)

It is $$$$$ but I use the Mustela line of eczema products. A milk bath, soap and lotion. No longer than 10 minute baths.

We use ALL Baby detergent, Huggies Sensitive (fragrance free) baby wash and lotion, and hydrocortisone 2% cream or ointment. It's helped, especially on his face, but his legs are still really dry.

The Eucerin wasn't doing it for Allie, so we switched to Aquiphor (it's made by Eucerin). Very $$$, but worth it. I put it on her cheeks and legs 2 times a day. Her ped commented on how "great" Allie's excema looked, and said to keep doing whatever we're doing.
We also give Allie a milk bath, but we give it to her every night. It doesn't seem to bother her to get a bath every night. Some stuff I've read says that a warm bath every night is better than alternating. We use Burt's Bees baby bees milk bath.
HTH!
