Each night now Walker usually has homeowork involving reading a book. Tonights book was on Penguins. Our session went something like this:
Walker reads: "The mothers and fathers go into the ocean to eat fish and other small animals. While the parents are away, the chicks huddle to keep warm. The mothers and fathers find their chicks by making a special sound or call. Each penguin family has its own call. That's how they find each other.
The mother and father bring up their food they ate and feed it to their chick."
So, Walker asks what do they mean by "bring it up"? I told him it meant to vomit it back up and then feed the partially digested food to the chick.
He responded "ewwwwwww! Just like Curran! Yuck!"
"Hey, I bet Curran could feed a lot of penguins tonight." And off he cheerily went.
As it was, we did have fish tonight. And Curran did puke on his plate. :ANYWORD:
