Man, I still just loooove our therapist...I think I look forward to Tues./Thurs. as much as Ava does! She loves to help me trouble shoot, and she really works on speech with Ava as well...she's so great!:yahoo:

Ava ate a whole tube of Go-Gurt for her, but only ate a bite or two of mac and cheese. We've been kinda concerned about the way Ava chews...well, she doesn't really chew. She just kinda holds things in her mouth chipmunk-style and squishes them around...not very effective. Amy saw what I was talking about and decided to see if Ava could handle something chewy. To my surprise, Ava ate 5 raisins!!! She's never even thought about eating raisins when I've offered them to her, so it was really nice to see!:smt041

Also, we've got Ava's OT eval set up for March 12th. Amy said that OT in conjunction with FT is a huge help, and she really thinks Ava will benefit.

Mmmmm, no, but Saturday was good. He asked for a pb&j sandwich even though he'd never had one before and ate seven bites! Then he ate some ramen noodles with peas for dinner. So I just keep thinking about Saturday....

Don't want to be a downer, but (and I guess the therapist is a heck of a lot smarter than me) but watch the raisins....I know she didn't have many by my kids always had trouble with passing them/gas etc

Wow Lindsay it sounds like Ava is coming along nicely. We start feeding threapy this thursday adn I can't wait. I hope everything continues to go well for you and Ava.
