Hello,
My baby is 101/2 months old, has turner syndrome and has had severe eating problems since birth. She was also born with low muscle tone. We went several months trying to conquer her feeding issues ourselves and then with an ng tube.. well now we have a g tube and she is gaining weight wonderfully. She is 16 pounds now and was 12pounds 8 ounces in december when we had it placed. My question is.. before getting the G tube she was malnourishd im sure to say the least.. plus on the wrong formula.. she is on elecare now.. they believe she has a milk protein allergy.. not proven,but with her symptoms she probably does. She was showing me signs of getting stronger last month doing well with her physical therapy but now she is like back sliding.. she doesnt want to get up on her hands and knees very long.. she gets fatigued rather quickly.. im just wondering if that could be a side effect of the pepcid she is on.. She is gaining weight so you would think she would have more energy.. but thats not seeming to be the case. She gets up in the morning and by the time she is up an hour she's tired and rubbing her eyes..she is also teething some.. i dont know if that could be making her feel bad as well. just wanted your opinion..thanks.
