Hi

My ds is 3yrs+ and 31 pounds, what would be a good dose of MoM (as a laxative)
I've been trying 5ml, 2x per day but it doesn't seem like enough
The bottle says as a laxative, 5-15ml, 1x per day...

Hi, try the full tablespoon (15mL) at bedtime. You may have more luck with that.

I also wanted to ask, would the dose for MoM and mylanta be the same...do you think one works better as an antacid or laxative?

Hi, use mylanta for antacid only as it contains alumina and magnesia (which is constipating and diarrhea causing). Give a tsp to a tbsp every 3-6 hours or 1-3 hours after meals and bedtime. MOM is used for constipation.
