My dd had sensory integration problems with her legs only and were resolved by 8 months in PT. Titus has shown no signs at all of problems with his legs - loves his doorjamb bouncer, exersaucer and anything he can get his legs going on. HOwever, I'm starting to be suspicious that he might have issues with his arms. He won't push himself up with his arms while lying on his stomach (he's 8 months). He still doesn't roll over either direction. He sits up and holds toys and sucks on his hands, but when he's reaching for things, he doesn't tri-pod at all or put any weight on his arms. In addition, he's the jumpiest baby I've ever seen. Sharp sounds or anything he can't see make him startle badly and sometimes cry, depending on how startled he is. I've been thinking about calling our old PT (if she's still at the practice) and ask whether she thinks he should be assessed or not. ANy opinions? This literally occurred to me only this morning, although I've obviously been stewing on it for a while.
