hi and thankyou for your time i know how busy you are with work and your own gerdling and not to mention you work in the other forums on IRD

Miki has always had Apnea and they though it was hlaf caused by her laryncomalacia and half reflux o n20th of now she had lazer for the larycomalia, and was doing really well and since she has been having her contimous feeds at such a slow rate she had not had any alarm for ages for maybe 2 months which is really good but this is what is worying me on friday she started with it again had 1 alarm then sunday night she had another 2 and then last night 4 i know thay they are definately not false alarms as each time she has been holding hre breathe i know this because her chest has not been moveing and after stimulateling her she wil breathe again, do you think that this is probably just caused by the relfux flair up or perhaps something more the reaos it is worrying me is because if feel she is getting weaker and is lately more tired than usual so i am getting woried especialy sen as she will be having her ops soon

thanks for your time

Amy, I'm sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I've been at work the last couple of days.

Do you think Miki may be coming down with a cold or virus maybe? That could certainly trigger more episodes of periodic breathing. Anytime she's just not feeling well she is certainly prone to more apnea. And, yes, she may be having reflux flare, which could also be triggering it. She may be more tired because she is having the spells. Keep a close eye on her. Hopefully it's a little virus that she's fighting off and she will feel better in a couple of days. I'm sorry you're having to deal with this again as her surgeries are coming up. I'm so hoping that she's better afterward - you have so much on your plate now!
