Hi there, thank you once again for taking the time to answer my questions.

Today we got Parkers compounded prilosec and it seemed a lot runnier than usual and when we gave it to him, both times today he said yuck, he has never said yuck to this med before and he has been on it a year this way. I tasted it and the old one and this one is a lot nastier like the med is stronger. The problem is the pharmacy is shut till Monday, so I don't know what to do, should I keep giving it to him or should I give him some tablets that I have here? We are weaning on Monday, so it is going to be hard to get the tablets the right dose.

Is it possible that they could have made the wrong med or the wrong strength???

Hi, difficult one to really answer.
Although I don't have the formula with me, I'm assuming they use sodium bicarb in the preparation and that is probably what you are tasting. Without talking to the pharmacy it is difficult to know. Any pharmacist worth their weight should probably accept a call from you at home if you are really concerned and it seems like a lagit. question. That's what I would do.
