My 8 week old has eczema on face. Can I use hydrocortisone 1% at her age? Also she is taking Prevacid solutabs 15mg should we space that out from Mylanta?

Hi, the 1% hydrocortisone is beyond the scope of regular pharmacist otc/rx counselling but I would say no unless prescribed by the doctor. Even 0.5% is used very very sparingly in that age group, esp on the face. When giving the antacid with prevacid, it does not significantly alter the bioavailability of the prevacid but somewhat lowers the peak in the blood, so it shouldn't make a huge difference.
