I was going to ask the pedi. this question but noticed they are away for two weeks. My almost 8 month old is on 15mg Prevacid once a day. 7.5 in morning and evening. I have seen no change in her reflux. She is at least 18 and a half pounds as of two weeks ago. We have been on the Prevacid for five weeks now. She has been med free for five months previous. So she has suffered quite some time with this. Do you think that I need to give the prevacid longer or do you think that she needs a higher dose. She doesn't go back to the doctor until mid January and I don't know if we can keep going on like this.

Hi Michelle, I noticed my answer is not showing up here from a few days ago - sorry. You are just at the threshold of doubling the dose. I can't authorize that but even your family doc could ok that until you see the ped.
