We have put simethicone in my baby's formula since she was probably a week old. I always put the drops in right as I was making the bottle. Now that she is on a different formula, Enfamil AR, I have to make the formula in advance and keep it in the frig. I put the simethicone in as I am making it, as this keeps down the foam and air bubbles. My question is this: Is Simethicone still effective after it sits in frig in the formula? Should I be adding more to the bottle just before I give it to her?

Hi, I've always been one to say add stuff to the bottle only when ready to feed or even better, alone just before feeding (or after). It may be stable but I really can't say for sure and for how long. The packaging normally says store at room temp below 25 deg.
