Is there a difference between these? My son is doing well on Zantac. However, he throws up alot and I have heard that there is some motility assistance with the Axid. I am willing to try the Axid but I am afrad to rock the boat. If it'll contol the acid as well as the Zantac does, I'd at least try.

Hi, this is a drug I hardly ever see anymore and I'm not sure why. The pediatric dosing however starts at 6 months and up, so maybe in a couple of months you could discuss it with the Dr. It is along the same lines as zantac or pepcid or tagamet.
