You honestly don't look like a fat hippo...in fact, you bear no resemblance to a hipoo at all. Hippos are ugly and they smell bad...and, I'm no zoologist, but I think I can say with confidence that hippos definitely don't wear glasses. :-)

I just cut some bangs and went blonder, and I'm pretty excited about it. Dark hair just isn't me, but my hairdresser convinced me to try it last year, and it just didn't work for me...I was starting to look old, and Amish, and tired, w/ dark hair pulled back all the time. I went through a crimping phase myself. I did it for my 8th grade picture and now my friends call me Crimp and Curl Katey:angry7: They were doing it too they just don't have a year book pic for proof:razzing:

Yes, DH is a firefighter. His dad and great-grandfather were also firefighters. It tends to be one of those "family" things, but we kind of hope our boys will choose another vocation. ;-)

I once died my hair can't remember the look i was trying to achieve ROFL, but it turned BRIGHT red, I mean like you said Fire Engine Red and it took forever for it to come out enough so I could dye over it!

This is off topic, but it hit SOCLOSE to home. In an effort to save money but still look fabulous for my 30th bday bash this Sunday, I decided to dye my own hair yesterday for the first time ever. It came out orange. Like a carrot. I am not happy. :hissyfit:

In preparation for the baby photo contest, I am posting new pictures of myself since the one in my previous post is no longer working. These aren't the cutest pics since my hair looks so nasty. I agree Lindsey - we did it for a while and it was nice to put a face with a name. I would reconigize everyones kids from a mile away - but I am not sure about the moms.
