EEk, two of the neighbor kids have these bumps all over them. Their Mom's said it is from the Molluscum virus but is only contagous if one of the bumps breaks open and another kid comes in contact. From what I googled they are a form of warts:yikes: I just don't trust these Mom's that their kids are not contagious because one of them is the same Mom who told me her kids snotty nose was due to teething then Connor got her damn cold. Anyone heard of this and should I keep Connor away from them? I was going to ask the Pediatrician here on Ird but I think he's still away. Thanks

It's spread by skin to skin contact, and yes, it is wart-like. A friend's daughter had it several years ago on the backs of her knees, and they had a very difficult time getting rid of it.

So, do you think it's ok for him to be around them as long as he doesn't touch the area where the warts are. I wish I could totally keep them away from eachother, but everytime we are outside playing they bring there kids out and I think it's going to be a little obvoius if I run everytime (LOL)

Yuck, Kim, I would keep Connor away if at all possible.

It looks way worse to me. Not sure if it's anything like that or not but it sounds horrible and sometimes they have to burn it off. Not something I want my kiddos to have to be put through. It just infuriates me that people don't keep their sick kids to themselves KWIM! It's almost like they want you to have to be as miserable as they are. I hear them playing outside right now ICk!!!

I would stay away also, you never know if he may get it. I don't know what it is but it sounds nasty.

I would keep him away to and if the other mom doesn't like tough crap!!!
