Henry had an upper GI today - to eval his reflux and to look to see if anything more serious was going on. The test was not as bad as I thought - the doctor and tech were very nice - and the best news it that everything looked structurally normal. So we are going to cont our current treatment and see if things continue to get better. (he has only been on Prevacid for 6 days).

Well that is encouraging, Christine.
The previcid will take few more days to have a full effect..in some cases up to 2 weeks. Hope to hear more good news for Henry in your future posts!! Is that a family name or just a really cute one? Gotta get a pic of him posted....Mirra AKA Bonnie can make a siggy for you if you would like her too, she just posted today about sending her some pics and she will set them up for us.

I am so glad that it all went well. That is great that there are no structural problems. It is great to get that peace of mind. I am sure the Pervacid will start to help more in the next few days. I agree with Debbie, that is a really cute name. I love that the old names are coming back.

Get those pics to Bonnie, I can’t wait to see your little cutie!
If you send her three or four pics she will make a little slide show for you.

Ditto what Debbie and Katey said--I"m glad that all came back normal with the Upper GI. :-) It took about a good week and a half to start seeing results from Prevacid when my dd was on it so, like Debbie said, you may have another few days to wait and see how it goes.

Please keep us updated as to how Henry does on the meds! :-)

That is great that everything looked good. And that the tech was great.
We did this not long ago, I was a wreck, my baby did great! ;-)
