Hello! I am suppose to return to work at the end of the month. With the reflux issues I was nursing all day and did not have time to pump. Now that things are under control I have been able to pump the baby just wants to breastfeed. I read some of the articles at Kelly Mom.com. My LO is 2.5 months he has only had about three bottle in his short life. I know I should have given him bottles more often....but you can't turn back time. Has anyone else had this problem?
I have had this problem; however, I was lucky in that I did not have to go back to work.
My dd would absolutely, positively NOT take a bottle. No way, no how--and believe me, my dh and I tried EVERYTHING, as she was a 'round-the-clock nurser up until toddlerhood. Honestly, I am not sure how you might go about it except to start trying to have others give him the bottle (if he sees/smells you, he'll hold out for the "real thing") or to just start pumping like crazy and only offer bottles in the hope that he'll get hungry and just take it.
Honestly, I am no expert at the bottle thing...I have a feeling some of the other moms are going to have much better advice!
When do you have to go back to work?

Have you tried Playtex Nursers?? Baby will usually get hungry enough to take a bottle eventually. My aunt told me one of her boys would NOT take a bottle and refused to eat while she was gone, he made up for it when she got home. HTH sorry I couldn't be of more help.

I wanted to follow up and report that the baby is taking a bottle now...playtex nursers. Yeah! Now the challenge is to be able to pump enough milk for my ds.
