My son is ten months old and had been on zantac (until 5 months) and is now prevacid (since stopping zantac) which currently, after a beautiful 5 month run, seems to be losing its effectiveness. I am hoping this is just a little phase and that the prevacid will continue to work until he grows out of the reflux. Any suggestions? We haven't begun any new foods, and we just went through terrible teething bouts without a reflux symptom. This week we have "wet" burps, but no spit up, lots of hiccups, irritability, and night waking. Although it is no where near what the symptoms used to be, I was concerned about our meds.
