I was just wondering......people are telling me that I should call my daughter's doc to get her Prevacid changed. They said I should change to the solutabs instead of the capsule. They say that capsule loses it's effectiveness and that she would be better on the solutabs. Can you please tell me what the difference is? I do not know the difference.

If I am understanding the question right, the answer would be that the capsules and the solutabs are both good until the date on the original container, which (when dispensed) should no run out until you give the last dose if you are giving them regularly. If you are referring to the compounded product, then this expiry issue is true.
