Connor's scope isn't until next Fri but I was just wondering how many hours before the scope he won't be able to eat for? The scope isn't scheduled until 10am, we have to be there by 8am but I'm so worried he's going to freak out without a morning bottle.
B's scope was also a mid-morning scope and she had to be on clear liquids (water only) after midnight the night before.
It was miserable, as the scope occurred during the time when she was still awakening about every hour to nurse, so from midnight on, we had one very angry baby! :-(

I *think* it was nothing after midnight when Catherine had hers, and I think her appointment was 8:00am, or something like that. It wasn't late morning.
It was a looooooonnnnnnnggggggg night as she was still getting night feeds at the time.

We only had to do 4 hours. I thought it would be a nightmare, but Allie was fine with it. At first, the GI nurse told me nothing after midnight, but then the GI said that they are only making parents do 4 hours now. And, Allie had severe DGE at the time, and she did fine.
Check with your doc and ask about the 4 hour thing. This may make your life easier.

We have a scope scheduled for tomorrow morning and my GI told us 4 hours. Ben's appointment is for 9, so it shouldn't be too hard as he never wants to eat anyway!

I am pretty sure you wont be able to give him the morning bottle. It may be a midnight cut off for food and drink.
We had our scope at 2pm and had to stop food/drink by 6a, I remember cause I had to wake him up specially to have his bottle.

Ours was no solids after midnight (the scope was scheduled for 11:15) but he could have a morning bottle as long as it was four hours before the scope.
