my daughter is 4months old and weighs 13lbs. she currently is on the solutabs 15mg. I usually give her half in the AM and then other half in Pm. I was just wondering if this dose is o.k. for her weight? we started out with only 7.5mg, but there was no improvement. I should mention that upper gi showed severe reflux.

I just want to make sure the 15mg is not to much for her.

Hi, although probably 1/2 of the people that read this may have given more, the dose for precacid for a child less than 10 kg, which is your child, is 7.5 mg daily. The dose is 15 mg once or twice daily from 10-30 kg. However, for GERD is listed as 15 mg daily generally for kids. The dose isn't out of the ball park.
