As I have previously posted KC goes tomorrow for his study. I am wondering if we need to stop meds or is it ok to give them to him in the morning. The GI's office never called to tell me either way:hairpull: . I am nervous as it is. You'd think I wouldn't be with all the other tests he has had done but I get more nervous with each passing tests. I know it is not as major as some of these tests but this is one that will determine whether he will end up with a major procedure. Next will be the ph probe and then if needed they will wrap his stomach around his esophagus:neutral: . Someone please help. I hope I am nervous for nothing.

Lauren, we did not need to be off meds for this test.

I just want to tell you that it is more beneficial in testing for abnormalities and the time it takes to go through the system than reflux, so thats why you don't need to be off the meds/

Reflux may not even show up, it doesn't mean he doesn't have reflux, it just means that at that point in time he didn't have reflux.

Please don't be nervous about this test, to be honest Parker hated it, but many people here have said that it was a breeze.

The pH probe was actually not that bad also, just a bit of an inconvenience and it looked bad, but he actually didn't mind it.

I know it is hard, but please don't worry yet about the fundo, wait till you get the results and see how much it is effecting him and go from there. If you are this unsure, get a second opinion on it, I would definatly get another opinion before any surgery, to make sure that this is what he needs.
