I want to remove my ads because I got some weird email by somebody claiming to be owed a large amount of money and if I helped somehow they would cut me in. I am positive it is a fishing email or somebody trying to get into my computer some way. But what freaked me out was the subject line was re your car seat add on ird. Um....bad, very bad. So I want them gone. I can't see how to take them off.

Unfortunately, it doesn't matter what you do online, spammers will find you. Ugh. It's frustrating, infuriating, and down right unfair.

I get spam from ebay all the time too and don't even sell there. Odd that I haven't gotten any spam from this classifieds here yet since we are such a target. That's part of a the downside of being a large, highly visible site. It's highly visible to spammers as well.

Can you forward the email to me that you got if you don't mind? roni # infantrefluxdisease . com (change the # to @)

At any rate, you should be able to delete the ads, if not, I will go in and see.

I never thought about fwding it to you. The funny thing is, I think I got the same email before, but from a different adress. So it is definately a bad egg. It was totally weird, I can tell you that. Kept saying my dearest and if you help me you will surely be rewarded. Something about he dead husband died and left her a fortune but for some reason she can't acces the safe deposit box. I am not eve sure what it was asking me to do, just had a bad feeling about it from the get go. Anyway, I am going to try and delete the ads and hope that will help to deter any future crap.

Well, I went into edit, but there isn't an option for removing the ad. If you get a chance, Roni, could you get rid of them for me? Thanks.

You can delete them, could you tell me which ads are yours and which you want deleted?? Unless Roni can get to them... please send me a PM and I should be able to take care of them for you.

Ok here are directions for deleting your own ad:

Click on Classifieds then at the top left you will see My Ads click than and then click on the name of your ad to open it up. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the ad and you will see a box to check on the bottom right that says Delete this ad?
There you go! :) Let me know if you have issues and I can definitely take care of it for you! :)
