Eric has had several small injuries, and they take FOREVER to heal.
They don't get infected or anything they just take so long. I always thought
that all children healed fast.
Examples:
He got a small blister on his foot from his new sandals 6 weeks ago, and it's still trying to heal.
He never wore the shoes again and I kept him shoe free for 2 weeks. He doesn't pick at it or anything.
He bumped his chin in February and got a small scrape. It barely even bled it took until June for it to heal over and now he actually has a little pink raised scar from it.
He's had 2 CBCs and they came back fine. His blood has been tested for allergies, and came back neg. Lead, neg. He's had a celiac screen and with this found out that he has low Iga. He's not Iga deficient, but it's on the low side. Could low Iga alone cause slow healing?
What would cause this slow healing or could it just be a normal process for him?
