Hanen was GREAT! I hope that you like it as much as I did. It truly does make a LOT of sense. Actually, it was downright embarassing at times to see where such wee changes can make so much difference. lol

For us it was a great program but Iain is not developing speech normally for whatever reason and we did not gain as much as I would have liked out of it other than information to have in reserves. :) A few Moms that I went through it with have said they have had great strides in the months since and look forward to the next assessment to show off! May Daniel have lots of great progress with it and tons of fun, too!

For us, we were offered the option to buy the book and I did, no one else did in our group. We received lots of handouts but I still found the book to be very useful and ended up with the school version of Hanen to boot and it is virtually the same so do not buy more than one.

If you have ANY questions, do not hesitate to ask. It is still relatively fresh in my brain and I can find that book again... :wink:

Be sure to post about your experience with the program and let us know how it goes for Daniel and you.

Maybe once you are done we can get together and write a brief synopsis of the program for IRD as that was what I wanted to do upon completion of the program and did not get around to it...

Yeesh, I forgot to update. And you know why? Because I wrote 7 p.m. on my calendar but the meeting actually started at 6. But we're still signed up. I'll try to update as we go along.
