Hi Everyone:
My daughter had her endoscopy on Friday and it went really well. She was sooooooooooo happy at the hospital until she got her shot of meds. She liked the versed, but then the needle came and she became very loopy, which was strange and she didn't know how to handle it. It took a while before she fell asleep, but she did and the procedure took about 5 mins. The hard part was waiting for her to wake up and monitoring her all day. She basically slept all day long and couldn't crawl very well b/c of the loopiness. But she then returned to her normal self. The doctor found nothing and did some biopsies. He never mentioned the hernia he found on the UGI, so i have to ask him tomorrow about it when we get our results. I am sooooo glad that we did this and he saw nothing. I can rest now, just have to wait for the biopsy results to come back. She may just have a bad case of reflux. the funny thing is that since she's been scoped, she hasn't had such bad episodes of vomiting. We'll see how the results come back.
