My 11 week daughter has mild reflux and has now started (last week or so) to grunt and strain after eating. She turns red in the face and breaks out into a sweat. I'm not sure if this is reflux related. I have an appt. with her gastro on 9/6 but I just wanted to get another opinion. Thanks...

Lots of kids have a brisk gastrocolic reflex (note not "reflux"), the movement of the bowels as one eats. This is the reason some babies, especially breast fed, have a stool while they eat. I'll bet this is what is happening and probably not a manifestation of reflux.
