Many common questions may have already been discussed in this forum. Please respect our experts time and search the forums before posting a question or search our website to see if we have an article on the topic that you are looking for information on.

If you can't find answers to your questions using the resources above, please post your question. Our pediatrician is only able to accept two questions per day so please pay close attention to whether or not there are already two questions posted for any given day and if so, kindly wait until the next day to post yours.

Remember that it may take 24-72 hours to get a reply and due to time restraints on our pediatrician, unfortunately, not all questions can be guaranteed a response.

This forum is for asking general pediatric questions only, such as issues with child health, growth and developmental. As it is not possible to diagnose a child's illness without a physical exam, our expert will not dispense advice about your children's specific medical problems, especially for acute problems.

Instructions and tips for asking questions about your childrens health, growth and development:

* Include as much information as possible with your question, including your child's age, what the problem is, when it begin, how often it occurs, symptoms, and what treatments have already been tried.
* Also include information on your child's past medical history, including any chronic medical problems, past surgeries, and current medications.
* If your child is acutely ill, with a high fever, difficulty breathing, lethargy, irritability, bleeding, persistent vomiting, etc. then you should seek immediate medical attention from your own physician or local emergency medical services.
