We meet the new St today. She is very nice, She is a bubbly kind of person. I can see that she is going to work great with Zoee and Hobbes. She has given me a rough outlook to where Zoee is in her speech...
Her understanding is 12-18 months and so is her cognitive is 12-18 as well. So she is about a year delay in speech but she thinks that she would caught up quickly. We will see her again in a month and she will do one more evalution on her to have the final evalution of where she is. So Zoee is able where I thought she would be. I did find out that she is saying the three sentences b/c she is repeating what I say all day long....Zoee, where are you? Are you ok? I hear you, Zoee, ...so that is why she can say this three sentences and not milk. :lol:

That's funny about the 3 sentences that Zoee is repeting. I'm glad that you have such a nice sounding speech therapist and hope that Zoee will catch up quickly. Luckily her delays have been caught before she's too far behind.

Maggie, Yes, she will be working with hobbes but doesn't see him tillnext month. So He will go 2 months without speech but we are working with him at home and things are going well.

I'm so glad you found someone who relates well to both kids. That's sooooo important.
