Yay! We met up at a restaurant in Coronado (San Diego) today at around 2ish. We had some drinks and couldn't stop talking.... God, I wish she lived closer. We talked about IRD and babies...yada yada...got a little buzz on..LOL..Her husband and Mike are the biggest sweethearts! Then we went to her hotel pool afterward and swam with Cam and Connor. It was just too cool. Cam fell asleep on my shoulder in the pool and Connor had his bottle (in the pool) lol..then we tried to put them to sleep in the hotel room (Kim had a monitor, like a good mommy) I went in after about 10 minutes to grab a beer and when I walked in the room I smelt a poopie! It was the ConMan! Way to ruin a first date huh! hahaha We spent about 3 hours together...not enough time...5:30 rolled around and I had to get home to dh...plus Cameron was going to totally miss her afternoon nap if I didn't get out of there soon. Kim walked us a couple blocks to my car..we bought some bouncy balls for the kids at a souvenir shop, on the way..and said goodbye. They invited us to the beach tomorrow...We might go...I don't know, we'll see.
Just wanted to share! It was a really weird feeling meeting someone for the first time and feeling like you were great friends already....I guess we are. :) doi...just oddly comfortable right off bat. kwim?
