Has any one ever used the gripe water just for teathing When there child was not refluxing? The package says it can be used for teathing, but the instructions were destroyed by the teather. Any way I was just wondering if any of yall have tried it for that specific use and what were the results? He is desperate for releaf. Today he ate half a dog bone lol. He found them under the sink. They wont hurt him already cheked with the PED. My mom told me my aunt would hide under the sink and eat them like cookies guess it runs in the family. Yuck!

LOL about the dog bones. Connor and I were at the mall pet store and I seriously thought about buying him a doggie chew toy (LOL). I don't know anything about gripe water for teething, sorry. We give Connor an icecube in his feederbag and it really helps him:D

I have been giving him frozen fruit in his feeder bag he loves it. I guess his teath are really close to coming in because his appitite has decreased some. we also use the humphreys #3 teathing balls.

Usually the excessive saliva produced can cause babies to have upset tummys. The gripe water helps with this. I have used gripe water in the past, currently I give my DS a similar product called colic calm. I also use hyland teething tablets---which works wonders!! LOL

Thanks for the response. I think we may just try and see.

I used gripe water early on to help with gas; however, never used it for teething. I do know some moms who swear by it--it wouldn't hurt to try! :-)
