Hi All! Do any of you have any advice or suggestions on where to get a deal on Alimentum...Not sure if there are any websites that may offer it at a discount compared to Target and Walmart.

Thanks!

Good question,my daughter is on that as well. I check Wal-Mart yesterday actually as I heard they make their own "brand" of formula that is cheaper. They didn't have one compared to Alimentum...sorry I'm not more help. I did check their website to see if it was cheaper to buy it directly from them, but that was a bust too.

I don't know if Alimentum is made by Similac or Enfamil...but, you should be able to sign up on their website and they will send you some coupons for a while. I did this before my son was born and the coupons came until he was about 8mths old.

I use the Walmart brand, called Parents Choice, and it has been great! They are the only ones who seem to make a store brand of Lacto Free, which is what my son is on.

Good luck!

Only one word I can say: Ebay. I bought those sample size cans there and I paid for 9 of them $7.59 plus 10 bucks shipping. So if you count that as the regular size cans I got 4 1/2 cans for 17.59. I will check out the guy that I bought it from and will get back to you again.

I'm SICK of buying ALimentum! :) Ebay is where I have gotten the best deals. You can also ask your Dr if they have any to give you or if they can get you some from the Similac Rep.

You can also sign up at www.similac.com (http://www.similac.com) and they will send you coupons each month (YAY a whole $5 woooopie) if you havent already. Also... sign up in all your friends names & addresses and ****... make up some names too!

I even called Similac begging them for some help - which you can do too and you might get lucky and they might send you some coupons which they did for me.

Not much else you can do - other than ebay - to get deal on formula.

Good luck to you!! Hopefully we're ending the formula this coming week!!! YAY for one year olds! lol

Babies r us sometimes has good case prices on Alimentum. My daughter was on it for about 2 weeks. Now we are on Neocate. Any bargains on that, let me know.

Jenay:

Just wanted to let you know, I did some looking lately for Alimentum prices. My babies r us did not have cases but the single 16 oz was the same price as Target (23.99). I looked at my Wal-Mart and they didn't have any in stock. But I did find that Shopko (I think they may only have this store in Wisconsin) did have it for a whopping dollar cheaper! I'm still on a mission to find it cheap, so if I do find it I will let you know. I did search ebay and it came up with tons. I didn't have time to break down the prices to see if it was savings, but I'm sure it was. Good luck!

Kelly, my son was on Alimentum for many months, but I never really shopped around, since it seemed like all the prices were so similar. He had to have the RTF, so I usually coughed up about 8-9 bucks per 30 ounces.

Maggie:

If you don't mind me asking, why did he need the RTF? My friend mentioned this to me one time as well...that her little one needed the RTF and I never asked why? Is is easier on their tummies?
