Hi there. I am having major problems with my daughters reflux, but have read on this forum that adding cereal to the formula can sometimes help. She is 5.5 months old, and is on nutramigen formula milk, domperidone 1ml, ranitidine 0.5ml (all of which are not working!). Can anyone tell me how to do this - in the bottle? so do you make the hole larger? what cereal to use - I am from the u.k, so we have organic baby rice, oatmeal....please help as I am in desperate need of some sleep! I have not started solids yet, but I am going to today.

I am also going to moving her into her own room soon, has anybody used the sleepcurve mattress or anything else that helps?

I will be grateful for any suggestions.

I would just a tiny amount in her bottle for now....enough to make it a tad thicker then the formula, until she adjusts to that and then slowly increase the amount.

What about giving her a bowl of cereal in the am or PM along with her bottle? At 4 months here is when you are able to give them cereal!

Good Luck

I agree w/Stacy.
I was told 1 tsp per oz of formula.
Ihave to make my LO's really thick to help him at all, and I make the hole of the nipple just a bit bigger w/a knife.

Hope this helps you.
