Ok The first bottle Nathanel gets in the morning he will eat maybe an ounce and he is done the rest of the day he will eat five ounces but the first one even if I wait awhile he still won't eat eat it. Does anyone know what the deal is? He is five months and only on thickened bottles should I try food first thing? I am clueless. I just feel like I should be doing more to help him eat but for the life of me can't figure out what to do. Also he has started throwing up his bottles AGAIN. Not every one but it is becoming more and more. Does his meds need increased. I feel like the doctor is tired of me and I don't want to call over just a few bad days, but I am begining to wonder. Sorry I am rambling. Any suggestions?

Connor went through a period when he did the same thing. His Gi added a dose of Zantac before bed at night and it made a huge difference! I don't know if your Dr. would do that so you could try giving him a dose of Mylanta before his bottle and see if that helps.

He takes prevacid in the morning along with bethanechol. But we do give him mylanta in between bottles. I just wasn't sure what each medicine was for exactly. But I will try the mylanta before his first bottle. Is zantac like mylanta or would it be more like prevacid he takes that in the morning and at night. Thanks again

Sarah also had horrible mornings- often I had to syringe feed her. She still has some trouble in the morning but she is much better. I really don't know why this happens since she goes all night without a bottle- you would think she would be hungry in the morning. A dose of zantac at bedtime might be helpful. Make sure you don't give mylanta at the same time as prevacid or the prevacid won't work.
