Hi ladies
Some of you may remember a post about my friend's son and that his blood work came back + for the CGH array issue (duplication)
Anyway,my friend and her hubby were devastated and had their blood drawn to see if there was a genetic link etc
They received the results from a different lab, and were told that my friend, her hubby and their son all tested neg to any chromosomal issues??
The Dr explained to the lab the other labs findings and it was re-checked
It was then determined in fact her son did have the CGH array issue
Can you believe the lab made an error like this?
I wonder what would have happened if the 2nd lab was the initial lab used (found no problems).....
She is already having a very hard time with an official diagnosis and getting him the help he needs
Just wanted to pass this on as an FYI for anyone in a similar position
