Can I put the cereal in the bottle when I make them(vefore I put them in the refrigerator) molly2419 05-04-2006, 03:00 PM i was wondering the same thing! i use ready to feed with oatmeal. i put it in right before i feed her too, im afraid it wont mix well unless it is warm?? psalm91 05-04-2006, 03:18 PM I was also thinking it wouldn't mix, but she screams her head off when she's hungry and we don't feed her right away. she doesn't want to wait while we mix the cereal! LaurensMommy 05-04-2006, 03:25 PM The only thing I can tell you is that it will seperate if you let it sit. I've always mixed my dd's right before feeding. BraydenandBrynasMom 05-04-2006, 04:39 PM I've mixed it early...on purpose actually because I found it got thicker that way. I just put in the fridge. But I do blend the cereal in the blender ahead of time...so I'm not sure if that makes a difference. Then I just mix it again right before I pour it (I have a Pampered Chef pitcher that has a mixer built into the pitcher - that seems to help.) Here's my trick to make it faster...I have a few of those formula dispensers, the kind you can put in the diaper bag? Well, before bed, I fill it up with the cereal and formula. That way, I am set for the day, and can dump it in really quick. Just an idea... |
