Noah's Mom

Yesterday, dh and I decided to give Noah one dose of the Lactinex that contains milk and soy, since we figured that there wasn't much in there and he does tolerate Alimentum that has traces of each. Well, it backfired. Noah woke up SCREAMING with spots all over him (on legs for the first time). He is also getting these other tiny, dark brown spots to the side of his left eye. I'm going to snap some pictures for Dr. M when he's up, so I'll post them for you to see. Anyways, he said he didn't know that it contained milk and soy, and he shouldn't take it anymore (duh mom).
He said that there is no need to buy the stuff made for babies. He said that I can buy any one that I find that is milk and soy free, and then give Noah 1/4 of the dose for adults, twice per day. I wanted to share this for those of you trying probiotics incase it would be cheaper or easier to do this.
Oh yeah, it HAS to be a chewable pill or powder. If its a pill that is swallowed, than it cannot be done. I'm not sure why but he emphasized that I have to find a chewable pill.
I've found the pills at a health food store in a nearby town, so I'm going to pick them up this afternoon. Hopefully they can do some good for Noah's tummy!
