I just haven't been able to figure this one out...I've got lunch and dinner down with no problem. I don't see enough time in the early morning before that 1st nap to do both a bottle and solids.

Here is what things are like right now:
630-700a.m. - Wakes up, Prevacid, followed 15min later by 6oz bottle
8:30a.m. 1st nap, often for 2 hours
11a.m. - solids, usually 1 jar of stage 2 food, some puffs
12pm - 6oz bottle
1:30p.m. - 2nd nap
3:00p.m. - 6oz bottle
5:30p.m. - Prevacid
6:00p.m. - dinner, usually 1 jar stage 2 food, some finger foods.
7:00p.m. - 6oz bottle, bath and bed by 7:30p.m.

So, there is usually an hour gap between solids and the bottle. If he is more hungry, then that gap will be less. Since he goes back for that 1st nap so early, I don't feel like there is time to get solids in. I've tried to keep him up a bit later in the a.m. but he just gets crabby and refuses everything!

Any ideas?????

That is a tuff one Miori. I'm kind of having the same problem with Connor. Hopefully someone will chime in and help us both:D Sorry I wasn't much help!

Miori, does he take a lot on that first bottle? Jackson never does, but anyway, here is how our schedule goes, kind of like yours except

615 (ish) wake, Prevacid
630 bottle
730 try to do a solid (fruit and cereal mix)
830 nap(sometimes an hour and a half, sometimes, 30 min. :()
1030 bottle
1130 lunch (solid)
12 nap
230 bottle
4 nap (definetly a cat nap)
5 dinner (solid)
630 bottle after bath
7 bed
10pm bottle (I sneak in and do this one LOL)

I hope that helped you a bit, sometimes in the AM Jackson will take a lot of his "breakfast" and sometimes he won't, it just depends!:coffee:

Miori, I think thats fine... dont worry about it right now. Get in what you can... it took me a LONG time to get K 3 meals in. You're doing great!! Soon he'll be down to 3 bottles a day and 3 meals... thats how it goes for K now. It just worked itself out that way. Give it time! Dont rush! :)

Hope that helps!!

I asked the Ped about this too - she said she was not worried about it...that he will most likely get to the point where he is not taking his first nap so early and to try to get the meal in then. So, that was a relief to hear from her too! :)

Our morning schedule is similiar here.. the boys wake and have their bottle at around 6:30am. They then have breakfast at 7:45- 8am (1st nap is at 9:15am).
He sounds like he's getting alot so don't worry too much.. the schedule has a way of working itself out and he'll be eating breakfast before you know it! ;)
