Ok Girls...I have been in on a few posts about these.
And I feel that this will be good for Andrew's Bowels, problem is I am uneducated on them.
What is the name of the ones your child takes? Can you include the link so I can peek and choose the best suit for Drew?
What do they do exactly???
I don't need anything soy or dairy free as Drew has no allergies...to our awareness:)

Emma is on Solaray Babylife Bifidobacteria.

Her GI told us to use that or the Jarro Brand (she was on that before...but the store didn't have any in stock so she's on the Solaray now). Both are soy and dairy free.

You might want to call your GI and see what he recommends for him.

Connor is also taking the Solaray. We just started it a few days ago! I meant to ask his GI about it but he was so short that I totally forgot:doh:

Hmmmm....maybe the ped? Our ped put Emma on probiotics for a few weeks when she was teeny-tiny while she was on antibiotics for her first ear infection.
Or, just go with your gut. I'd stick with a dairy/soy free type just so you don't have to worry about any sort of reaction if he has issues with milk or soy.
Good luck! :hello2:

We use the Jarrow brand. It's easy to administer. 1/4 tsp. powder for kids under four and I put it in applesauce and pop it in.

The GI had us use Culturelle because she said it was the only that had been studied. http://www.culturelle.com
