I chated with her a bit ago her Dr. has her feeling bad I know we have all been there. I feel for her I hate our PED because she makes me feel crazy and over protective. I am not to shure about DGE so I was not able to help her much. Does anyone know what a nuclear medicine scintigram is. Please pass that info on to her.

Isnt that the same thing as a gastric emptying scan?

The study is a gastric emptying study. This test will show if there is any delayed empyting in the stomach or not and how bad of a delay there is. Devonsmom I am sorry to hear that this doc is making you to feel like this but as was stated we have all been there.

If I have learned anything over the years it is to trust my own instincts and judgements because I know my children better than anyone. Remember you know your child better because you are there with them all the time and the doc sees them for very short periods.

If you have any questions regarding DGE please feel free to ask. My son has a severe case of it and struggles on a daily basis. I do hope that things improve soon.
