I was just curious where everyone fed there kiddos? Connor seems to hate his highchair and doesn't eat well in it. He seems to do much better in his excersaucer but it's hard to "catch him" in between bouncing and twirling all around(LOL)

Okay, we initially had issues with the highchair (esp. with Matthew) but it did get better.... The boys have laways been fed in their highchairs (much easier for me) but I do remember times feeding them in the exersaucer (but the jumping up and down put a stop to that) and also feeding Matthew on my lap while hubby fed Stephen in the highchair.. that was because Matthew was having issues with screaming at feedtimes  I tell ya.. feedtimes were never too good in this house... until the boys hit around a year old.. and all has been good since. Hang in there..... it should get easier!!

Catherine was fed in her exersaucer for the longest time. She moved to the high chair when she was probably 11 months or so. She still isn't crazy about it.

Joshua seems to like his highchair but hates my Mom's. It has a very straight back and his is somewhat reclined.

How about sitting on the kitchen floor? I have some friends that do it that way.

But heck, feed him any way he'll take it!!

Emma fed in her bouncer chair up until she was able to sit up on her own, unassisted. I sat the bouncer chair near the wall so it wouldn't bounce. I sat on the floor in front of her and fed her that way.

Then, we moved her to an infant highchair that was slightly reclined back - she hated it and arched constantly. So, we moved her to her regular wooden straightback highchair. Hated it.

We've had the best luck in her booster seat. I think she likes that she can touch her feet to the chair the booster seat is strapped on. If I had known that months ago we would have done the booster seat earlier.

I'm not the best person for advice, though. :( Emma is not the greatest eater...although she is improving everyday.

Cady was fed in her bouncer or car seat for the longest time. I think until 6 months, maybe 7? Then, after that, to the highchair she went with no problems.

K started out for the first few months in her FP Rocker - Now she eats in her Highchair most of the time, she also eats "on the go" as well... in other words running around the house playing and standing in front of me to get a bite. Once in a while she will still get lunch or whatever in the rocker... mainly because we dont own a table and I have to sit on the couch to eat and it hurts my back to sit up on the edge of the couch to feed her in the higchair! :)

At first I fed Owen is his FP rocker and than when he was able to sit up by himself we moved to the highchair with no problems.

Same as Melanie, I fed him in his bouncy seat, then we moved to his high chair, he does ok w/it.
I put him in it while I am in the kitchen doing stuff as well, maybe that is why he doesn't mind it!
LOL about catching him while he is spinning! LOL :)

Bouncy chair around 4 months...then booster chair that reclines from then on. If we're home he eats there...if we're out he either eats in his stroller (snack tray) or high chair.

Daniel hated his high chair. I put him in his walker and wedeged him between the couch and my body to keep him in one place. Now he uses a booster seat that attaches to the table and has a belt.

Andrew has always sat in his highchair..with no problems...His highchair has several different seat positions on it though...

I say feed him where ever it works!!!

Lauren has always been fed in her highchair, without any problems. We have the wooden straight back one too.

When she's sick though, I usually sit down at the coffee table with her and she sits in her nice new plush chair. She doesn't eat as well there as she does in the highchair. She's probably ready for a booster seat, but we don't have a kitchen table with chairs, we have an island bar with stools that we eat at.

Our kitchen is so small, that I gave up the table and chairs so that I could have an island bar (somewhere to put the new dishwasher) when Lauren arrived. I couldn't imagine washing all the parts to a bottle by hand.
