Just wondering (I know I posted about this a whiel back)...
How many hours before bedtime do you give the last milk/meal for the older babies? I've started giving zac his milk WITH his meal instead of an hour after. His meal is at 5pm-530...just wondering if that's too soon before bed at 7. then again, when he drinks whole milk, he spits up once or twice afterwards so too much closer to bedtime may not be a good idea.

Catherine goes to bed with a 4oz sippy cup (I know, bad for the ears and teeth but it keeps the screaming to a minimum) and she gets another around 11:00pm-12:00am. So that's the last of the "day."

Obviously, Sara, I am no help here, but I just had to comment on Lesley's sig blinky thingy. Perfect, and very true! LOL.

We try to eat dinner around 6 pm every night. Lauren gets a tubby at 7:30 and an 8 oz. bottle of milk (when she's not sick) at 8:00pm. We then brush her teeth and she's off to bed. Hope that helps.

Daniel has one last "meal" at bedtime, but since it's through his tube, it's not an issue that he's already brushed his teeth.

hmm...i wonder if he needs it closer to bedtime? Or maybe not since he does fine like he's doing.

Hey, I say if he's not waking up in the middle of the night hungry, leave it alone.

We eat dinner around 6:30. Em usually has pasta, a vegie, and 4 oz. sippy of formula w/Miralax. She has her bath around 7:30, drinks 4-5 oz. of formula, we brush her teeth, read a few books and then she's in her crib by 8:15-8:30.

Some nights we eat an early dinner (or on nights she doesn't eat much at dinner) she'll eat a few Ritz crackers and has 4-5 oz. in a sippy instead of a bottle. This is what we're trying to transition to so she's off bottles someday.

I think if Zac's doing okay, goes down easily, and his weight is doing fine, then I would stick with what you're doing.

So Amanda and Sandy...in a nutshell, you're sayin they basically drink their last bottle/milk about half hour before bed then??? ;)

So sorry, LOL. If you can't tell....I can turn a "yes" or "no" question into a long story about how, what, when, where, and why!

I don't know how my DH puts up with me.

Or, all of you for that matter!

Cady's dinner is usually about 4-5 PM, then has a sippy of milk when I bring her home at 6-6:30 PM, then a little 4-oz bottle at bedtime.

The boys have their dinner at 5pm (give or take 15 minutes). They have a bath at 6:30pm and bottle (4oz) at 6:45pm. Bed at 7pm. For us, the spitting up has not been an issue for months...... so hence the bottle close to bedtime. I have to admit some nights they are not even interested in the bottle.. they may take 1-2oz. I don't think it will be long before we will be dropping the bottle.....

Yes Sara... Lauren gets her last bottle about 20-30 mins. before bed. We're planning on taking away the bedtime bottle at around 14 mos. and giving her a bit in the sippy.
