Jackson had a chronic stuffy nose for the first 4 months of his life. All of a sudden, one day I noticed that it had cleared up, completely! :blob2:
So, yesterday I bought him some "Biter Biscuits" and gave him one. He LOVED them. As I gave it to him I read the ing. "Whey, whole milk powder, "
Hmm... well he didn't react at all, so I thought that maybe it was all just the reflux.
This morning he woke up w/a stuffy nose.:banghead: That is the only sign right now. Grrr..... could this be the first sign of a milk allergy?????
The lactose I think I have ruled out, at least in his solutabs, he has been taking them for two days now and so far he is fine.
Help!

I am not sure if he would react that quickly? But then again...I don't have allergy problems with my kiddos, so I am not quite sure!!
I hope you get it all figured out soon...It must be so aggravating to keep going back and forth!!!

I'm not sure. I guess it could be...
I have to say that Eric's stuffiness and congestion miraculously went away several times, and just came back the same way it left. I don't think his diet had anything to do with it. It was just a random thing. Even when he was on just formula without any changes it would happen, and then back to stuffy again.
It's definately worth keeping track of though. I kept a journal for a while, and wish I had added the stuffiness to it along with all the other things I kept track of.
You might notice a pattern or something if you keep track from now on.
I noticed that Eric's breathing improved a lot when I took him off whole milk. I don't think allergy. He does WAY better on 2% and he would be just as bad with any milk product if it were an allergy.
Another thing to consider is the wheat in the biter bisciuts.
Like I said just start keeping track of the foods and the stuffiness and see if there's any connection.
