I have been trying to search and have found no luck.
I really think Hannah has a problem with the silicone from her g-button.
All the buttons I have seen are made of silicone.
We have never made it with a button for more than 3 weeks. It breaks down, start's looking nasty, she gets granuloma's, an she gags and throws up. and then they break. We put a new button in and things clear up for a little bit and then we go through the same cycle. I know this is extremely rare but I really think this is the problem. I researched a little on silicone allergies and found people that reacted to silicone shunts.I think she handles a new one for a little bit because it takes time for her to break down the tube. I am going to make an appt. to talk with the surgeon but iIwould like to know if anyone knows of any other button's without silicone. Thanks!!
She has had a rough couple of days and I just wish we could figure out the problem!

Wow, interesting theory. I hope there's something out there that'll work for Hannah. Unfortunately, I don't have any suggestions.
