I have a nipple question too!
Almost every time Jayden eats we have to pull the bottle out of his mouth throughout the feeding cause the nipple is flattened. He uses regular Gerber bottles, but we don't know why this happens we have tried different flows and brands?? He doesn't like the other nipples, like playtex or Dr. Browns. Got any ideas to whats goin on? One more thing we tried the fast flow x holes nipples and he cann't get anything from them. he'll suck and suck but gets nothing. He doesn't get mad though he just keeps sucking.

Try not tightening the ring as much.

i used to use those bottles too and had the same problem.......keeping the ring looser did do the trick i think

It's because there is no air getting in and it creates a vaccum (can also cause ear infections). Try loosening the ring to see if anymore air can get in, if not....use those nipples on the Dr.Brown bottles as those bottles won't create a vaccum.
